Sunshine Coast Blues Festival -2010- Programme

Friday 10th September

BLUES CLUB JAM STAGE

We gonna pitch a wang dang doodle

Friday Night in the Chicken Shack!

7pm: NO PROBLEM - young guns of the blues on the Sunshine Coast – this trio of 16year-olds have an exciting new lead singer. They rock their blues with plenty of funk!

8.15: NATURAL BALL - after 6 years, the artists formally known as ‘Natural Ball’ have been reborn and rebranded as THE WALTERS, in tribute to two of the greatest harmonica bluesmen of the early 20th century, Walter Horton and Little Walter Jacobs. Don’t think they won’t still be playing their brand of high energy, 50’s style, blues, R&B and soul though. They’ll just be doing it 'Walter' style…

9.30: TRIPLE SHOT are keeping the blues alive, covering songs from Guitar Slim to Buddy Guy, as well as originals.

10.45: RAY BEADLE is the genuine article; His music comes deep from the heart  and soul. Ray’s music is rich with a deep history of the Blues; Rich from 20 years of experiences garnered from performing Nationally and Internationally; And rich from a deep understanding of his instrument and how to make it stir something within the listener. That’s what the Blues is about.
